Thank you Bryan. Another excellent description of your yearning and stretching toward gr

owth. I now realize that is why I am here. Probably why we are all here. How wonderful when we can be conscious of that!!!

Yes, I believe that most people, whether they know it or not, are here to grow and that if we don’t know it now, we’ll know it after we leave our bodies behind.

Anyway, thanks for the comment and thanks for becoming a paid subscriber! I appreciate it!

Expect to see more content more regularly in the coming months, especially now that the baseball season is almost over….but not yet, because my Mariners survived an “instant classic” do-or-die game against Detroit and have extended their season (and my main focus) for at least another four games!

I’ve actually got an article brewing in my head connecting some of my sports watching, especially over the past few years, to astrology, which should be fun to write and share. Probably within a month or so!

That was a great look back on how things were for you and how it shaped your thinking and feelings. It can be a tough balance for sure especially with the cultural differences. I can relate with the significant other being from a different country with different perspectives. Difficult lol Good on you for maintaining the balance but not forgetting yhe importance of freedom!

Muy bien mi buen amigo

Excellent article, Psychological Type Brother! I had mistyped you Bryan, I intuited you as Extroverted Feel type with Intuition as auxiliary. I now amend my diagnosis! We are exact typological matches both being Introverts! We are extraordinarily rare! Only 1-2% of American’s are of our type…

In my experience, only One Relationship is actually needed… Enough said.

Much as I’d like to join the introverted groups, I’ve taken MBTI tests dozens of times and all but once, my result was ENFP (the other time I was an INFP, but I was depressed when I took it then, lol).

But I will inquire, Charles, why do you think I’m the same type as you, which, based on your stat about how rare it is, is an INFJ?

ENFPs start with extroverted intuition (Ne), then introverted feeling (Fi), then extroverted thinking (Te) and the introverted sensing (Si).

It’s said that while ENFPs can certainly be very gregarious and sociable, of all the extroverts, we value and need alone time the most.

We need it because that Ne can get overwhelmed with connecting the intuitive dots of our social reality and we then need time alone to use our Fi to feed that data into and then determine what we value.

Pretty much all of the studies I’ve done into MBTI tell me that I’m an ENFP but I’m open to hearing other interpretations, so let me know what you saw from reading this article, Charles. Thanks!

Interesting, we're almost exactly the same type. I'm exactly in the middle of E/I, otherwise, NFP. Typological twins!

Now write an astro memoir—I'd read the hell out of that!

I want you to know, Sam, your “little” comment here was actually a VERY big one for me to read, but I was way too busy this week to have the time to tell you that.

Briefly, I’ve been very seriously considering writing an astro memoir ever since my stint in jail in 2023 and I stumbled upon the simple idea of using current planetary transits to determine what topics to journal about in jail. At that time, I was simply using the Moon, and I was also still under the idea that signs/houses kind of represent the same thing—-but, of course, even though that’s not really how the ancients came up with the system, there still is the correlation that modern astrologers intuited before we had much access to ancient texts and knowledge.

Anyway, during this crazy busy week—-a week which also included my Gene Keys/Human Design “Soul’s Birthday” (88 days before one’s actual birthday) of October 9th—-there were several synchronicities within about 36 hours that all pointed to the direction of writing such an astro memoir—-but of course, your comment was the most on the nose!

I’m gonna spend the next few weeks sort of pondering how I might put things together—how I can use my Substack blog to share parts of the book to promote it—but a BIG THANK YOU again for writing that so clearly!

That’s really moving to hear; thank you for sharing 🙏🙂 No pressure at all, truly. I just love your writing and thought an astro memoir could be a perfect way for people to watch astrology at work—how transits and time periods play out through an actual human life. There’s something powerful about making that visible, especially in a voice as thoughtful (and frankly, candid) as yours.

I totally agree. And considering who I am, how I write, and what shows up in my natal chart with that crowded 7th House, I’m reasonably confident that writing such a memoir is one of the best gifts I can offer the world.

I’m looking forward to working on it and you’ll certainly be seeing the signs so long as you’re still connected with me here on Substack.

Again, thanks for the considerate push!
