Thanks for saying that. It really does mean a lot to a Saturnian fella.
I have come to recognize in my 52 years that our time is our most valuable resource and most of us probably don’t do enough to tell others we appreciate when they spend it on “us.”
And yes, I’d like to think that a blogger writing is hopefully writing for his or her readers and so these readers recognize the blogger is spending time on them.
Anyway, thanks for offering the supportive feedback. Have a great weekend!
Hola Bryan. Another great piece and share. I love hearing your thoughts on things and really enjoyed the three-card tarot pull. Super intriguing and a great reminder to keep grounded and connected. I will have to read this again a few times so I can digest it properly and intertwine my visualization of the rest of the year to go along with that. Powerful stuff mi amigo. Mucho gracias !
Yeah, that was a fun one to write and the draw was surprisingly optimistic. I say “surprisingly” only because so many people think things are going to Hell in a handbasket but the truth is I actually think things are going to get better. Just might be a bit of a bumpy ride to get there. And I think people will be pleasantly surprised; at least those people who aren’t so committed to their belief in Armageddon that they can’t see spring when it’s sprouting.
Anyway I’ll probably do more of these Tarot draws for articles in the future. I’m doing that other writing project I told you about right now so it won’t be for another few months, but maybe I’ll take a break one night and do a draw for our downtrodden Seattle Mariners. I am almost ready to say “Put a fork in those guys!” They just seem forever cursed.
All right man, enjoy Mexico and I’ll talk to you later!
The funny thing is I set a rule that I ended up deleting from the article about how the reading was written. And that is, I only gave myself about eight minutes to write each interpretation because I was on the clock of the Sun moving into Aries. And for the most part I did not edit those sections afterwards.
I also didn’t write that I have been doing daily Tarot readings for myself for five years now, but I still consider myself a novice at interpretation. I have been using a website called Biddy Tarot to learn the archetypes and still look at it for my daily draws to help me flush out my interpretations. Because I’ve been doing this every day since May of 2020, I feel I’ve learned the archetypes of the cards reasonably well but I’m far from complete in my understanding.
Having said that, one thing I love about working with archetypal symbols and an archetypal language is that we can be beginners in using them and still gain insight, and we can become “expert“ at using them and still have much to learn. Archetypes are the gift that keeps on giving.
Yes, I agree. The wells that keep giving :)mI've only begun using the tarot since 2022 so I'm a few years behind you. I have a feeling that lots more people have begun using divination in the last half a decade. I'm still learning too but The Star is my most favourite of all.
The Queen of Cups as the future is lovely, isn't it. That the extreme polarisation and isolation and alienation may be at its zenith. And that the dawning realisation of our power is coming to the fore and into more manifestation as evidenced by The Star. It's a very blingy upbeat reading, let's go with it. I've been swimming in nihilism the last few weeks, it would be nice to switch it out to something a bit more balanced :)
Happy weekend to you too, enjoy the blossom trees and a sprung spring 🌸
I appreciate the time you take to compose and share your insights. They are very helpful.
