This is a Culture of Death. Yet the ironic, very sad thing is, we don’t know how to gracefully die.
Seriously ponder it. This woman (and her daughter) were with her husband for several days in her house. Yet the hospitals wouldn’t let her physically touch him as he died?
Doesn’t even make sense logically. But emotionally it is devastating and unnecessarily cruel.
People need to start tossing these Love-Denying Medical Professionals aside so they can properly bid their loved ones a fond farewell.
I keep waiting for people to stop treating the medical Establishment like they are experts on dying. Our culture sucks at dying and the reason for that is because of the secular materialism of the people who run the places we die in.
