The fact that the three articles you linked as examples of the content you are looking for covers such a narrow spectrum of thought, and the fact that Medium has not only censored an article I wrote as a COVID-19 dissident/skeptic but they censored a COMMENT I made on a post by Umair Haque about two weeks ago ... well, these facts don't give me much confidence that this project will be the ACTUAL, wide-ranging, honest discussion that our culture needs to have.
In short, it seems Medium has been captured by one side of this topic and the way they make themselves feel better about this is by censoring those of us who have a different voice.
It's funny really---in this world where the Woke constantly speak about the absolutely-needed job of giving voice to the oppressed (something I've been saying since the 1990s), they somehow are able to handle the cognitive dissonance that would naturally result if they pondered how they are repressing oppressed voices with regard to COVID-19.
Anyway, perhaps this post will be removed, too---after all, we wouldn't want individuals to be able to discern for themselves, we must protect them from alternative perspectives, it's all for their own good, you see!
PS: I do applaud the idea of doing this sort of retrospective so perhaps that's what I'll write my next blog post about. It may work as a perfect litmus test to see if I stick around on Medium or move over to Substack.
