Thanks, Shon! Would you care to share what made it great for you? 

I’m asking out of an earnest effort to discover what I can offer my readers.

Right now, I’m doing a four-part retrospective on my four years on Medium, as I transition to a new blog over on Substack, and much of the reason is I want the new blog to become more successful than this one has in terms of more readers. I’ve been re-reading my articles and I don’t believe it’s due to a lack of quality, original writing that this one didn’t do as well as I’d hoped so I’m trying to pin down what I do well and what I can improve on.
