I’m only four notes in and already have to say THANK YOU, Caitlin. You’ve been a voice for Truth, Justice and Compassion in the manure-laden media landscape for the past several years.
Glad you are on our team.
Now, I’m gonna finish reading the article, and will share it widely, then I’ll actually end my own little time-out from writing AND publishing that the coronavirus has gifted me (though haven’t stopped podcasting), because I do feel those of us who feel called to actually use media FOR humanity and FOR Nature(they are the same) should be doing so.
That all said, LISTEN to your body and your intuition. Mine basically told me to STFU for a week or two and just take some time off, much NEEDED time off, from social media, from writing, from reading, from BUSY BEE Bryan!
So I did, I focused on the things that make life worth living to me – bike rides in Nature, stopping occasionally to take lovely photos like the ones above and below this paragraph, explorations of secluded areas to find groovy new picnic spots, extra hugs with my daughter and dog, sharing soul-empowering music videos that make me smile not only at how awesome music is but at how music connects us and makes us all happy, and just taking in deep breaths every morning, feeling grateful for every single day I’m granted another crack at this thing, in spite of all the craziness, or perhaps because of it.
