I very much resonated with this post. Something has been percolating within my own 2020 laboratory of strange existence, something which feels it is breaking the surface and it relates to the dead-end of self-focused “ego” involvement, and how we are at a stage of human consciousness evolution that requires an OS update or else we will destroy ourselves.

It feels like the clock has run out and it’s GO time.

I reflect this could be my projection onto the collective but it just seems the ego-focus has played its part and its time for a more holistic, inter-connected sense of being and doing.

I’d recommend the work of Charles Eisenstein on this needed transition from the Story of Separation (ego-based consciousness) to the Story of Interbeing.
