This is The Archetypal Lens.
After returning from a long-overdue, wonderful, three-week trip in January to my roots on the West Coast of the United States, I brought back my first bout with COVID-19, and thus, my plan to have this blog up and running by mid-February had to be adjusted … slightly.
Over the past week, my brain fog has dissipated, and my energy has returned. As a result, I’m beginning the brainstorming phase I’d hoped to accomplish in the first two weeks of February.
The long and short of it is you should start seeing posts from me by, at the latest, the first week of March.
Having said that, I have two posts I’d like to publish before then.
The first is about Pisces Season 2024. I’d like to have this published by the weekend (otherwise, we may have swum too far into the Sea of Pisces for it to be worth your while to read)
The astrology of the past few weeks has been very active, with lots of action in Aquarius centering around Pluto, but yesterday, the Sun moved into Pisces, and a lot is going on there that I’d like to address. One of my motivations for this is many people in my life and online are reporting about emotional processes related to grief, purging, and deep healing, and this both relates to the Pisces archetype and, more specifically, what I see happening in the Heavens now.
However, one of my 2020s mantras is “adjust accordingly,” and life is happening pretty fast with several curveballs and—a blast from baseball’s past—screwballs being thrown at me these days, so I don’t want to be held to any promises on writing, let alone, publishing that post.
There’s even a part of me that feels odd about beginning what I hope to be a monthly report on the “astrological season” with Pisces, the final sign of the Zodiac, a part that’s saying, “Bryan, just start that series in Aries Season and get in sync with the Zodiac, fer chrissake!” But hey, I’m a Sun sign Capricorn with many planets in Capricorn, so sometimes I like to get ahead of things.
Regardless, what you will see in the next week or two (by my daughter’s 14th birthday, March 7th!) is an introduction to this blog. In it, I’ll explain who I am, what I’ll write about in more detail, and what I hope to accomplish with this blog.
For now, I thought it was a good idea to write a brief update, thank you for your patience--if any of you are waiting on this thing!--and say I am looking forward to what this blog will become and to what I hope will be a collaboration with all who engage with it.
